Year 7
As our new Year 7s start their journey through secondary school, I really look forward to watching them grow and develop both academically and pastorally. It is always difficult starting a new school and making new friends, and we will help them every step of the way. My role as a Guidance Manager is to ensure that all students feel supported and are safe and happy whilst they are with us.
We will be reinforcing our school routines and promoting our culture of respect at every opportunity and to maintain this vision we will be monitoring:
Punctuality and Attendance - Pupils must arrive at school on time for 8.30am
Uniform - The uniform policy can be found on the school website, and we have high expectations of smart and correct uniform
Outstanding Behaviour - We expect the highest standards of behaviour both in and out of lessons
At Toynbee we are committed to every student achieving their personal best; it is vital that we all work together to support our students, and maintaining a positive relationship and open communication will be one of my main priorities as we go through the year.
I am confident that together, we can provide the guidance and encouragement your child will need to excel academically, build resilience, and develop into well-rounded, socially responsible individuals.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
