Safeguarding

The welfare of our pupils at Toynbee is our highest priority. We want to ensure all pupils are safe and feel safe.

Upon arrival, all visitors are required to report to Reception where they will be asked to sign in and will be issued with a Visitor Pass. This pass must be worn and displayed at all times.

Toynbee School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all pupils, staff, visitors and external agencies to share this commitment.

Should you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a pupil, please speak to one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads:

Whilst on school premises, ALL visitors are required to:

- dress appropriately

- use appropriate language at all times

- use designated adult toilets

- treat everyone with respect and tolerance

- immediately inform one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads if you have any concerns for the safety and well-being of a pupil or if a pupil makes a disclosure to you

Whilst on school premises, ALL visitors must NOT:

- instigate verbal or physical contact with pupils unless it is appropriate and part of the agreed reason for your visit

- give or request any personal information to or from pupils (eg: phone number, email address, social media account names)
