“We are a ‘Community Interest Company’ (CIC), or more commonly known as a Social Enterprise.

Our vision is simple – to change lives and enhance wellbeing using the power of physical activity, sport and education– where there are no barriers to any individual, group or organisation in achieving this goal.

We passionately believe that leading an active and healthy lifestyle can support and improve people’s physical, mental and social wellbeing. That’s why we have made it our mission to inspire this in everyone we engage, and in everything we do.

As a proud Social Enterprise we do things differently. We exist to add social value by ensuring the profits we make are reinvested back into local communities to enable social change, and support us in achieving our vision and mission. This means when you work with us, or buy from us, your community benefits.

Our Active Holiday programmes are a great way to keep children and young people active during the school holidays. With an emphasis on supporting and improving physical, mental and social development and wellbeing our programmes are the perfect balance of active learning and fun in a safe, positive and inclusive environment.”

Astrella Academy of Football -https://astrellacoaching.co.uk/

Astrella Academy of Football’s aim is to give talented, aspiring youngsters an opportunity to play and be coached in an environment that mirrors that of a professional football club academy.

Our academy philosophy and syllabus not only focuses on improving players with their ability with a football but more importantly developing their life skills and confidence, to use football as motivation at school and at home to ultimately support them through their football journey and in life overall.

Our sessions and coaching give each player Individual Learning Objective’s that enable players to set their own targets and goals to aspire to with the support of our coaches. Players continue to play for their grassroots team at weekends but play games representing Astrella Academy of Football on Wednesday evenings against both professional football club academies as well as other grassroots teams. This games programme enables all players that are committed to playing for their local teams can also receive extra coaching at Astrella Academy of Football without any conflict. These games will see recruitment teams from professional football club academies in attendance.

Held at Toynbee School every Wednesday.

St Francis Football Club -https://www.stfrancisfc.org.uk/

St Francis FC is delighted to have been providing football development for children from 5 to 18+ years old in the Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh area for many years and is very proud of our community links. As of 2020, we're also incredibly proud to have grown to encompass a men's team for the 1st time.

The club was established in 1994 and originally trained on St Francis School playing field. It now has almost 350 children training regularly with many of them playing in the local football leagues (Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League, the Southampton and District Tyro Football League, the City of Southampton Youth Football League and the Winchester and District Girls League).

In 2002, the club received the FA Charter Standard Development Club Award. This award recognises amateur football clubs which are run along formal lines, and which meet the standards set out by the Football Association. This charter provides a framework for best practice for managing amateur and community football clubs. These standards include child protection, code of conduct, financial management and developing skills, among others.

St Francis Football Club was the first club in Hampshire (including adult clubs) to receive and continues to hold the Development status charter award. This is a major achievement given that the parent managers are all volunteers and manage the club in their own time.

AFC Stoneham -https://www.afcstoneham.co.uk/

AFC Stoneham was formed in 1919 and we will have 77 teams for season 2021/22 ranging from our minnows team to our first team who will compete in the Wessex Premier League. We also run our own Player Development Centre, FA Wildcats Centre for girls and a Saturday Morning Fun Club for children aged 4-10 along with various community projects under our new AFC Stoneham in the Community banner.

We offer a structured player pathway into both our male and female senior teams whilst also offering football to all ages and abilities with a big focus and commitment to our ever-growing youth structure where we have grown the number of female teams from 2 to 17 in two years. We believe that the game is a vehicle to teach our young players both life lessons and disciplines through team sport which hopefully they will utilise throughout their lives as they progress and develop.

AFC Stoneham use Toynbee School throughout the week.
